Frequently Asked Questions

1. How far in advance should I book my session?

Most brands book 4–8 weeks in advance to allow time for creative planning, product shipping, and location coordination. However, my calendar fills quickly during busy seasons (especially holidays and spring campaigns), so reaching out early is always best.

If you need consistent content year-round, my Cultivated Collective Retainer Program gives you priority booking and guaranteed sessions each quarter — no need to scramble for dates or availability.

2. Can I upgrade to a retainer after my first session?

Absolutely! Many of my clients start with a single session and quickly realize how helpful it is to have consistent, campaign-ready content throughout the year. Once we complete your initial project, we can easily transition you into The Cultivated Collective Retainer Program, where you’ll receive discounted rates, early booking access, and strategic planning each quarte

3. What if I don’t live nearby? do I ship my products?

Absolutely! Many of the brands I work with are located all across the U.S. and simply ship their products to me. Once your session is booked, I’ll send over a detailed shipping guide with my studio address, shipping tips, and preferred carriers.

You’ll send your products directly to me, and I’ll take care of the rest from unboxing and styling to shooting and safely re-packaging when we’re done.

You’ll also receive a full creative plan before your session — including a mood board, shot list, and styling direction so you’ll know exactly what’s being captured and how it aligns with your brand aesthetic.

If you’re part of The Cultivated Collective Retainer Program, we’ll plan your quarterly shipments in advance, making sure your products arrive on schedule for each seasonal or campaign shoot.

4. Do you work with product-based brands only?

Not at all! While I specialize in lifestyle and product imagery for family-focused and small-business brands, I also offer sessions for service-based businesses — from creatives and makers to local shops and online boutiques. If your brand tells a story, I’d love to help you share it.

Frequently Asked Questions

5. Do you help plan the creative concept?

Yes! Every project starts with a strategy call and mood board. I’ll help refine your ideas, map out the aesthetic, and align your visuals with your brand goals. Whether you already have a full vision or need help developing one, I’ll guide you through the process start to finish.

6. Can you find models or styled locations for my brand?

Absolutely. I have a network of Oregon-based models, families, and studio spaces that I work with regularly. I’ll match your brand style and campaign goals to the right people and places so everything feels seamless and cohesive.

7. How long does it take to receive my final gallery?

Most sessions are delivered within 2–3 weeks. Larger campaigns or retainer projects may take a bit longer depending on the scope, but I’ll always communicate your exact delivery timeline in advance.

8. What happens if my products don’t arrive in time?

Things happen! If your products are delayed, I’ll do my best to reschedule your session to the next available date. For retainer clients, we build shipping timelines into your quarterly planning to avoid any last-minute stress.
